Room 3's Trip to Ambury Farm

Last Friday, Room 3 visited Ambury Farm, as part of our Social Studies topic about Farming.  We learned interesting facts and experienced the  many different aspects of farm life.

We all had a go at feeding the baby lambs with milk bottles.  Although it was pouring down with rain, the lambs still had to be fed.  It's a tough life being a farmer!

Art Exhibition - Henri Matisse

Room 3 decided to dedicate our exhibition to Henri Matisse's Collage Art.   We closely looked at the cutouts on seaweeds and 'Beasts of the Sea'.  This is what we have created.

We also shared interesting cinquain poems on the work of Henri Matisse.

FUN, THRILLING EMERGENCY SERVICES HEALTH WEEK

On Thursday 29 May, New Windsor School students were treated to a special visit by a Police Helicopter, Fire Engine and the Police Dog Trainers.

A special thanks to the awesome Olivia from St John's for teaching us how to respond to emergency services.

2015 Class

Welcome to Term 2.  Room 3 has been very busy creating beautiful Ink Blot artwork using coloured paint.  We are a class of year 3 and 4 students doing our best to achieve our PB4L values.

We are  currently working on our art exhibition featuring Henri Matisse.

Room 3 : We are a class of 25 students at New Windsor School. Our school is located at 185 New Windsor Road. We are year 3/4 class.  Our class participated in the Book character parade last Friday and all students dressed up as a book character.
